Prior to the 01 April 2009, the Eastern Development was part of the Care Services Improvement Partnership (CSIP), which supported the development of health and social care services.
Our role was to support the delivery of Department of Health policy priorities at a national, regional and local level to bring about improvements in health and well-being. We worked in partnership with the Department of Health, the NHS, Government Office and local government to promote and support the innovation of local services through:
We ran four core programmes of work focusing on children and young people, health and social care criminal justice, mental health (NIMHE) and social care.
