Department of Health, Social Care and Local Partnerships at GO East

We support a range of programmes for the Department of Health Social Care and Local Partnerships team at GO East. These include supporting the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and the development of User Led Organisations (ULO) and the development of Local Involvement Networks (LINks).

We are supporting the NHS East of England to deliver  ‘Towards the Best Together’, its exciting vision for the NHS in the East of England, now and for the next decade. We have work linked to all ten programme boards.

An example is the Regional Carers Experience Programme  commissioned by the Patient & Carer Experience Board.

Department for Children, Schools and Families

We are supporting various programmes of work for the Department for Children, Schools and Families including Transitions, Targeted Mental Health in Schools and work with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHs).

Local Authorities &

Primary Care Trusts

We provide support to a range of specific projects and programmes for individual Local Authorities and local Primary Care Trusts around the East of England.

Big Lottery Fund

We manage `Well-being in the East`, a portfolio of 25 projects funded by the Big Lottery Fund (BLF) intended to improve well-being across the East of England.  

These innovative projects aim to improve people’s mental health by focusing on prevention, and/or encourage healthier eating by helping people to make better choices and change their lifestyles; and/or increase levels of physical activity amongst people of all ages.
