Portfolio Manager
Eddie has over 20 years of project and programme management in a wide range of public sector settings. He is currently a Portfolio Manager in the EDC, responsible for a £4 million lottery funded programme delivering 25 well-being projects across the East of England. He also supports the Staying Healthy Board in respect of commissioned work (one of 10 Boards set up within the NHS East of England in response to ‘Towards the Best Together').
Eddie was formerly a career civil servant with wide ranging experience across government, including policy development, advice to Ministers and government departments. During his career, Eddie has delivered successfully a variety of high profile programmes and projects across the public sector. He has also worked within the National Lottery sector as an assessor, trouble shooter and programme manager within an organisation responsible for delivering lottery projects valued at £2 billion.
Eddie has a great deal of experience operating at a senior level as well as at an operational level. He is a very experienced and successful programme and project manager. He has a good ‘political' feel; excellent coaching and developmental skills; ability to grasp complexity quickly and develop plans, ideas and solutions; problem solving; practical; excellent record of successful delivery within cost, quality and timescale.
Eddie has an MBA, BA (Hons) and is an MSP and Prince 2 qualified practitioner.
